On Wednesday, May 13, Hoosick Town Supervisor Marilyn Douglas and Highway Superintendent Bill Shiland met with Hoosick Falls Trustee Ric DiDonato and Building Inspector Dick Weeden, Rensselaer County Legislator Lester Goodermote and Tom Blanchard and Steve Len of the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation to look at some of the problems of Woods Brook.

Works Starts On Route 22 Bridge In Stephentown

Work started Monday on replacement of the Route 22 bridge over the Kinderhook Creek in Stephentown. Crews from the Bette & Cring Construction Group of Latham began construction of a detour highway section to take traffic around the site of the new bridge via a temporary bridge while the new bridge is being built.

Berlin’s Wilma Anderson Honored By County

“Quite a family” were the words that District 5 County Legislator Stan Brownell used to describe the family of Wilma Anderson of Berlin when they appeared Tuesday evening in the Legislative Chamber to receive copies of the resolution passed last month that honored her memory. Wilma M. Anderson died on Wednesday, March 25.
