Two seats on the Berlin School Board are up for election on May 19. The candidates were announced at the Board’s regular monthly meeting on Monday. The seat now held by Don French will be contested by John Nash of Grafton and Gina Goodermote of Stephentown. Julie Darling is running for reelection and she will be opposed by John Greene of Berlin. Both positions are for three-year terms.

The Book Discussion Group of the Stephentown Memorial Library will read The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan for its meeting on Thursday, May 7.
