Hoosick Hullabaloo Promises Fun For All
Hoosick Hullabaloo, a new Music & Arts Festival kicks off this Friday with three days of events.
The fun begins Friday at 6 pm with the unveiling of the Community Bench Project followed by a ‘Glow Ball in the Falls Night Golf Tournament’ slated for 6 pm at the Hoosick Falls Country Club. Electronics Recycling Event October 3
The Rensselaer County Legislature and the County Environmental Management Council will team up to sponsor an electronics recycling day next month, Chair of the Legislature Stan Brownell announced.

Berlin Modified Girls Volleyball Wins At Home
On Monday the modified girls volleyball team got their first win of the season against Waterford. Strong serving by Brooke Deshane, Skylar Jordan, Sierra Pettibone and Carly Church led the team to its victory. Solid play by the rest of the team kept Berlin dominant throughout each game. The girls play home next Tuesday against New Lebanon and Friday against Hawthorne; games begin at 4 pm.
