Hoosick Wrangles Over Armory

At the start of the special Hoosick Town Board meeting on Wednesday, February 29, Town Supervisor Keith Cipperly announced to the crowd of almost 50 people that he wanted to keep the armory open as much as anyone else. “We’re all on the same page,” he said. The Berlin Fire Co. Installation Banquet

Good food, music and camaraderie were enjoyed last Saturday evening at the Berlin Fire Company Annual Installation Banquet held at the Bridgeway Restaurant in Cherry Plain.
A large number of guests included State Senator Roy McDonald, County Executive Kathy Jimino, County Legislator Stan Brownell, Deputy Director of Public Safety Jack Thompson, County Fire Car-2 Bill Gummer and Battalion 5 and EMS Car 1 Coordinators Cyril Grant and Evan Eisenhandler, Berlin Town Supervisor Rob Jaeger and Highway Superintendent Jim Winn, Chaplain Matt Olson and Fire Chiefs and Assistant Fire Chiefs from neighboring towns. Grafton Planning Board Action – User Roads

The main issue at the Grafton Planning Board meeting on Monday. February 27, was the Patrick Halloran and Linda Andriano 2-lot subdivision on Clickner Road. A number of Halloran’s neighbors attended the public hearing which began at 6:45 pm. They seemed to have two concerns. One was the actual number of lots that would result from the Halloran subdivision, since the property has already been sub-divided. The other was the clarification of Halloran’s responsibility and the responsibility of all the land owners there for the upgrading and maintenance of Clickner Road.
