St. Mary’s Academy Students Recognized For Cystic Fibrosis Work

Spring Story Time At The Cheney Library

The Cheney Library in Hoosick Falls will begin Spring Story Times on March 13 at 10 am in the Library. The Story Times are for pre-school children and their caregivers. This Spring the theme will be “Dream Big, Read!” It is taken from the 2012 New York State Summer Library Program for Early Literacy and includes such great favorites as Papa, Please Get the Moon For Me by Eric Carle and Good Night, Gorilla by Peggy Rathman. We will be doing related crafts and, of course, there will be snack time. Be sure to come and welcome Spring with some great stories.
The Cheney Library is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 to 8 pm, Tuesday from 10 am to 5 pm, Friday from 11 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm.

Haley Named To President’s List At SUNYIT

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bass of Bennington, VT, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Sandra Bass, to Ronald Carter, son of the late Margaret Gore of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Mack Carter of New London, CT. The ceremony was held on December 24, 2011 in Hoosick Falls, NY. The couple resides in Little River, SC.
