Webkinz Party – Kick off the week with a Webkinz gathering at the Library. Bring your favorite Webkinz pets on Monday, April 5, from 11 am to 2 pm and meet other Webkinz owners for socializing and snacks. There will be extra computers available for all attendees to use to log in to their Webkinz account. Texas Hold’em
The Stephentown Fire Department will sponsor a Texas Hold’em Tournament on Saturday, April 10, in the Stephentown Fire Hall, located on Grange Hall Road in Stephentown. The doors will open at 5 pm and close at 6 pm. Play begins at 6:15 sharp.
No advance registration is required, and a donation of $25 per player is accepted. Players can pay at the door and can buy 1,000 extra chips for $10. This tournament will pay eight places; the first player out receives $25 back.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, bottled water, soda and coffee will be available for purchase.

AARP Defensive Driving Course
The Everett Wagar Senior Center, 2 Roxborough Road, Grafton, will be holding an AARP Safe Driving Course, Wednesday, April 28, and Thursday, April 29, from 10 am to 2 pm with a break at noon for lunch. On Saturday, March 13, the Stephentown Volunteer Fire Dept. served 295 corned beef dinners at their 12th annual event. Stephentown Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Stephentown Youth Commission Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 3, at 12:30 pm at the Stephentown Firemen’s Pavilion on Grange Hall Road. The hunt is for children pre-k through fifth grade. This event will be held entirely outdoors – please dress appropriately. Don’t forget your Easter basket to collect your treats. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around! Adult supervision is required.
