Girl Scout Troop 1752 Help Haiti

Members of Girl Scout Troop 1752 put their girl scout pledge to work…….”to help other people at all times.”  The girls wanted to help the earthquake victims in Haiti. SYC Goes Tubing

The Stephentown Youth Commission is going tubing at Bousquet Ski Area in Pittsfield, MA, on Sunday, February 21, from 10 am to 12 pm.  The bus will leave the Stephentown Elementary School at 9 am and return around 1 pm.  All children must be accompanied by an adult and a release form must be filled out by a parent or guardian.  Please call Samantha Bink 733-6729 to register or with any questions.

Texas Hold’em

The Stephentown Fire Department will sponsor a Texas Hold’em Tournament on Saturday, March 6, in the Stephentown Fire Hall, located on Grange Hall Road in Stephentown. The doors will open at 5 pm and close at 6 pm. Play begins at 6:15 sharp.

Army Reserve Sgt. Jeremy J. Healy has been mobilized and activated at Fort Dix, NJ, in preparation for deployment to serve in support of either Operation Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom.  The soldier is a member of the 304th Transportation Command based in Springfield, MA.

Boy Scout Troop #222 Goes Rock Climbing

Local Boy Scout Troop #222 spent hours rock climbing, exploring the caves and riding the zip line at the Albany Indoor Rock Gym last week.
