New Lebanon Book Club To Read Latest From Pulitzer Winner

The New Lebanon Book Group has selected People of the Book by Pulitzer Prize winning author Geraldine Brooks for its upcoming discussions Thursday, October 15, at 7 pm at the New Lebanon Library, 550 Route 20, and Sunday, November 1,  at 11 am at the Hitchcock House B & B on Route 22.

Vegan Buffet In Petersburgh

On Saturday, October 3, at 5:30 pm  at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Community Center there will be a vegan meal catered by the “Dancing Vegan.” There will also be Dinner Music provided by Barry Hyman, “The Radical Pacifist, Vegetarian, Guitarist.” An After-Dinner Program will follow. The all-inclusive price is $20 per person.

Hunter Training Course

The Petersburgh Rod and Gun Club is offering a hunter safety course on October 23 from 6:30 to 10:30 pm and October 24 from 8:30 am until finishing time.  You must attend both sessions.  The Club is located on Scriven Road off of Route 2.  To register call 283-4248 (before 9 pm).  Or you can sign up at one of our turkey shoots to be held on September 27 and October 4.
