Hoosick Dog Control Officer Arrested

NYS Police arrested Town of Hoosick Dog Control Officer Matthew Beck on Sunday, March 22. He was charged with petit larceny, forgery, submitting a false written statement and official misconduct of a public servant.

Stephentown Celebrated 225 Years On Charter Day

It was 225 years to the day that the Town of Stephentown was formed from the Grand Patroonship of Rensselaerwyck and named in honor of Stephen Van Rensselaer. The signing of the Charter was reenacted Sunday afternoon before a packed audience in the Stephentown Elementary School auditorium.
