Storm Kiboshes Stephentown Land Use Hearing

November 2, 2012 By eastwickpress

by David Flint
Intrepid members of the Stephentown Town Board braved the winds of Hurricane Sandy Monday evening to turn out for a scheduled public hearing on revisions to the Land Use Regulations. There was no public hearing, however, as no members of the public were brave enough – or foolish enough – to venture out during the height of the storm.

Panthers Wear Down Fonda 47 – 0

November 2, 2012 By eastwickpress

by Steve Bradley
Last Friday, the HFCS Panthers travelled to their home away from home, Stillwater H.S., to meet the Fonda Braves in Section II quarterfinal action. The weather was perfect for late season football, and the HF fans turned out in big numbers to support their team.

Brogue turned on the afterburners and didn’t stop until he was in the end zone. One play …  sixty-three yards … HF – 6, Fonda – 0.
