The Petersburgh Fire Department held its 2012 Installation Dinner on Saturday, April 28. A fine dinner was provided by caterer Melanie Teliska, and music was provided by D.J. John McEnerny. Fire Department Chaplain Walt Knightes provided a brief Invocation before the meal and a Benediction after.

Play Ball! The Youth Baseball And Softball Season Opens In Hoosick

Two hundred and fifty-one boys and girls and their families gathered in Wood Park Saturday morning, April 28, for the start of the Town of Hoosick Youth Baseball/Softball season. Hoosick Falls Organizational Meeting

A tentative agenda for each meeting of the Board shall be prepared by the Village Clerk and given to the Mayor, Trustees and each Department Head on the Friday before each regularly scheduled meeting. HFCS Adopts 2012-2013 Budget

The Hoosick Falls School Board adopted the budget for the 2012-13 school year last week. Total spending of $20,984,082 is up by a little over $1 million, which is just over 5%. About $349,000 of the new money will come from an increase in State aid, about $465,000 will come from a larger fund balance being applied to next year’s budget, and about $175,000 will come from a 2% increase in the tax levy.
