On Monday evening, December 19, Dr. Leo J. Delaney addressed the Town of Hoosick Planning Board regarding his purchase of a 52′ by 27′ modular home with full cellar on Route 67 in Walloomsac and his plan to convert it into a Veterinary Clinic. Petersburgh Organizational Meeting 2012

Incoming Petersburgh Town Supervisor Siegfried Krahforst said he would like to set up some committees to move the Town forward. He hopes that interested citizens will join these committees. He suggests that each committee have two citizens and one Town Board member on it. He would like to appoint a committee to look into economic development and attracting business into town, one to go over Town Laws, to revise and reconcile them to create a unified set of Town laws, one to look into the feasibility of using alternative energy to light and power the Town Buildings and an ethics committee to revise and update the Town’s ethics policy.

Margaret Robertson, the departing Town Supervisor for New Lebanon, has ended her term with a final few words to her constituency.
“As I leave the office of New Lebanon’s Supervisor, my wish is for all of our residents to find peace and contentment in their lives. Happiness is a bit harder. If we want to be happy, it is up to us to decide to be happy and then just do it no matter how hard it may appear. The Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Whitehall on Wednesday, December 21, by the score of 4-0. Hoosick Falls now has a record of 31-1 and Whitehall now has a record of 6-18. The top bowler for Whitehall was Rich Tisi with a 233-609. The top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Josh McCart 279-697, Josh Conn 215-636, Joe Wolfrum 259-614, Bryan Callahan 236-601, Mitch Andrew 202-591 and Mikaela Marbot 209-534. The top JV bowlers were Jordan Colvin 214-565, Ken Marbot 201-547 and Stephen Surdam 204-543.
