Grafton Historical Society Meeting To Feature Corn Husk Dolls

August 6, 2010 By eastwickpress

The Grafton Historical Society’s August meeting will be held at the Grafton Town Hall on August 18 at 7 pm.
The Society will host Dee Kronau. She has been making corn husk dolls since 1975. Her interest stems from their history. She feels they are a truly American craft that the native Americans shared with the early settlers.  Her dolls have been featured in Doll Reader and Lady’s Circle as well as the Times Union.
