Hoosick Grange News
Hoosick Grange met on September 25 with Master David Cornell. At the previous meeting on September 11, the Grange worked on planning programs and refreshments for the coming year. This night they checked over the program to try to have everything right.
After the business meeting they had the Lecturer’s program. The Lecturer told about her trip to the 911 Memorial, talked and showed pictures. She also visited the aircraft carrier Intrepid, a sea, air, space museum complex. This was very interesting. The Lecturer took pictures of this big ship also. She had a few jokes and a closing thought.
It was time for refreshments, and Marion Cipperly had some delicious ones. In our next meeting on October 9, the Lecturer is having Charles Filkins present a program on postcards. This should be very interesting. Edna and Allen Cornell are in charge of refreshments.
The Lecturer reminded the Grange that on October 18 – 22 the New York State Grange would be meeting in Albany. Grangers should try to attend.
