Fish Fry Friday Challenge is Met
St. Mary’s Academy parent and head fish fry chef, Jerry McAuliffe, challenged the students and families to help the school sell 150 fish fry dinners last Friday. That goal was exceeded so Mr. McAuliffe made good on his promise to shave his head and beard!

Ethel Simmons Memorial Award Contest
The Grafton Community Library and the Grafton Historical Society are pleased to announce that the Ethel Simmons Memorial Award contest is being offered once again to Grafton High School seniors who are to graduate this year. Public school, private school and home schooled students are eligible to apply. The award is $500 to the student who submits the winning essay. The deadline to apply is May 1.

Lions Club Penny Hunt On Saturday
The Town of Hoosick Lions Club Annual Penny Hunt will be Saturday, March 27, in Wood Memorial Park at 1 pm. The rain date is April 3. Prizes will be awarded in groups 3 years and under boys and girls, 4 to 6 year girls and boys and 7 to 9 year girls and boys. The egg toss event will follow the Penny Hunt.

Stephentown Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Stephentown Youth Commission Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 3, at 12:30 pm at the Stephentown Firemen’s Pavilion on Grange Hall Road. The hunt is for children pre-k through fifth grade. This event will be held entirely outdoors – please dress appropriately. Don’t forget your Easter basket to collect your treats. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around! Adult supervision is required.
