Tsatsawassa Fire Co. Breakfast

The Tsatsawassa Protective Fire Company Inc. will hold its regular monthly breakfast on Sunday, April 19, from 8 am until noon at their Fire House behind the post office located near the intersection of Routes 20 and 66 North in Brainard.

Breakfast offers your choice of pancakes or French toast together with bacon or sausage, eggs cooked to order, applesauce and an assortment of breakfast beverages.

Hot Dog Charlie’s

Join the Hoosick Falls Kiwanis Club on Saturday, April 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Hoosick Falls Fire Dept. on Main Street. Get 13 “dogs” and dessert for $11 or 6 “dogs” with dessert for $5. Coffee is free. Soft drinks are available. The Kiwanis are also  running a contest╔All you can eat in 3 minutes. It costs $10 to enter the contest..win big! Call Anita at 686-0306 or Roberta at 686-7217 for a reservation. The “dogs” are on a first come, first serve basis otherwise. All proceeds go to support our local youth.

Hoosick Dog Control Officer Arrested

NYS Police arrested Town of Hoosick Dog Control Officer Matthew Beck on Sunday, March 22. He was charged with petit larceny, forgery, submitting a false written statement and official misconduct of a public servant.

Stephentown Celebrated 225 Years On Charter Day

It was 225 years to the day that the Town of Stephentown was formed from the Grand Patroonship of Rensselaerwyck and named in honor of Stephen Van Rensselaer. The signing of the Charter was reenacted Sunday afternoon before a packed audience in the Stephentown Elementary School auditorium.
