Girl Scouts Cookies Are On The Move
Girl Scout Cookies arrived in Hoosick Falls on February 19 and individual scouts began contacting their customers. Did you miss out on ordering cookies from an individual scout or do you wish you ordered more? Don’t fret – local scouts will be selling at Stewart’s in Hoosick (corner of Routes 22 and 7) on Fridays from 4 to 9 pm and Sundays from 1 to 6 pm from until March 27, with the exception of March 20.

The Hoosick Falls Soccer Club is now accepting online registrations for Rec Spring Soccer for students in grades k-6. Log on to www.hoosickfallssoccer.org now to register. Coaches and players are needed. Register to head coach a team, and you may waive your youngest player’s registration fee for the season.

SVFD Corned Beef Dinner
The Stephentown Volunteer Fire Department’s 13th Annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 12, from 4 to 7 pm at the Fire Hall on Grange Hall Road. Take-out dinners also available.
Adult and take-out dinners cost $10; dinners for ages 6-10 years cost $6, and kids 5 and under eat for free.

Fish Fry Fridays In Brunswick
The Brunswick Lodge of Elks # 2556 will be hosting a fish fry dinner to be held at the lodge on Friday, March 11, March 25 and April 22, from 5:30 to 8 pm. Dinner includes fish fry and roll, French fries, coleslaw, a cup of clam chowder, a small soda, coffee, decaf and tea. A cash bar is available. A kid’s menu of grilled cheese or hot dogs is also an option.
