AARP TaxAide Volunteers Needed

AARP TaxAide volunteers prepare income tax returns for senior citizens. New volunteers will receive free training and will be paired with experienced volunteers to support them. Volunteers do not need to be AARP members but should have basic computer skills. Volunteers will spend one day a week for most weeks from February through April assisting senior citizens file their tax returns. Helen Rice Art Still On Display At 15 John St. Gallery

According to Herb Loretan of the 15 John St. Gallery, the showing of Helen Rice’s oils and acrylics of animals and still lifes and her stuffed “Teddy Bears” made from animal pelts and commercial materials two weeks ago was very successful. Many of her works continue to be on display in the Gallery.
