Tsatsawassa Fire Company Breakfast

The Tsatsawassa Protective Fire Company will offer its monthly breakfast on Sunday,  March  21,   with servings from 8 am until noon. Breakfast consists of your choice of French toast or pancakes as well as bacon or sausage,  toast,  orange juice, applesauce and  eggs prepared to your specifications.
The Fire House is located behind the Post Office near the intersection of Routes 20 and 66 north in the hamlet of Brainard.     For more information,  call   766-3815.

New Lebanon – Elizabeth “Betts” Steele Miller, 82, of New Lebanon, NY, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Great Barrington, MA, after a hip fracture in October of 2008 and resulting long illness.

New Lebanon Town Board Action

At the March 8 New Lebanon Town Board meeting, the Board was asked to help expedite the Midtown Mall project. Deputy Supervisor Monte Wasch was adamant that the Midtown Mall project get underway as soon as possible. The project requires a professional grant writer, which will cost nearly $3,000.

New Lebanon Town Board Action – Complaints About The Zoning Officer

At its February 8 meeting, the New Lebanon Town Board heard a number of audience members voice their concerns about Zoning Enforcement Officer Stan Koloski.  The residents claimed that he is difficult to work with, unfriendly, and irascible.
