New Lebanon Library Book Sale
The New Lebanon Library will hold its annual used book sale on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 at the Library. Sale hours are 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday and 9 am to 1 pm on Sunday. (“Buck a Bag” sale starts at 11 am.) Proceeds benefit the library.
Rain dates are Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2. Call 518-794-8844 for additional information or in case of inclement weather.
The library, at 550 State Route 20, is located 1/4 mile north of the yellow blinking light at the intersection of Routes 20/22.

The New Lebanon Town Board heard residents’ comments and concerns at a public hearing on Monday regarding the long awaited proposal for a revised zoning law. About 65 residents and business people attended the hearing at the Fire Hall.

New Leb Dems Choose Robertson

At their caucus on Tuesday night the New Lebanon Democratic Party endorsed incumbent Meg Robertson for Town Supervisor over challenger, and former Deputy Supervisor, Allen Livermore by a vote of 38 to 21. Cherie Lane Smith was endorsed for Town Clerk over incumbent Colleen Teal by a 32 to 26 vote. Teal said she would now seek the Republican nomination.
