“Harvest Moon Under the Stars” Dinner Event

Grafton Library Helps Grafton Youth Get Creative

On August 10 Joy Schillinger visited the Town of Grafton Summer Youth Program at Grafton Elementary to present a Wax Resist Watercolor Painting program sponsored by the Grafton Community Library to help the youngsters get creative, the theme for this year’s New York State Summer Reading Program.

Taconic Valley Post #937 American Legion Auxiliary To Meet

The Taconic Valley Post #937 of the American Legion Auxiliary will start its meetings for the year on Wednesday, September 2, at 7:30 pm at the Watipi Building in the Town of Berlin. Meetings will continue on the first Wednesday of each month. A number of exciting events are planned for this year. New members are always welcome.

Berlin Defensive Driving Course

The Town of Berlin is offering a Defensive Driving Course to any local resident. The class will be in September on a Sunday, probably the 20th or 27th. We need at least 20 people. Do you have something you’d like to sell? We have a place and a time to do just that! The Berlin Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting its 4th Fabulous Fall-Out Car Show on Saturday, September 26, from 10 am to 3 pm (rain date Sunday, September 27) and you’re invited! Registration is $20 for the day with both inside and outside spaces to set-up, but spaces go fast so call 658-2294 to reserve your spot now. Bring your own tables, and come join in the fun! No food vendors, please.

Need Help To Quit Smoking?

The Center for Smoking Cessation at Seton Health offers a six week program to assist those who want to quit smoking. TOPS Soccer For Little Kids

The Hoosick Falls Soccer Club has a new division this year called TOPS. This program is for three and four-year old kids and all children of any age with special needs. It will run each Saturday morning for eight weeks starting September 12. The fee is the same as the micro-league.
