On Saturday, April 28, Wendy Larson, formerly Wendy Saunders Morin, celebrated the 25th anniversary of her business, Everchanging Hairstyles. Friends stopped in from late morning to afternoon to celebrate the occasion. They talked about old times, looked through a scrapbook and enjoyed refreshments.

A tentative agenda for each meeting of the Board shall be prepared by the Village Clerk and given to the Mayor, Trustees and each Department Head on the Friday before each regularly scheduled meeting. Vet Establishes Clinic In Hoosick

Dr. Lee Delaney graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 and a week later he started his first veterinary job. Since then he has worked in clinics and animal emergency hospitals in Williamstown and Pittsfield, MA, Latham, Glens Falls, West Mountain, Chatham, Saratoga and Rutland, VT, and from his home in nearby Shaftsbury, VT. Grafton VFD Bly Family Benefit Buffet Breakfast

The Grafton Volunteer Fire Department along with the Grafton Ladies Auxiliary will be holding an All You Can Eat Benefit Buffet Breakfast on Saturday, May 26, from 8 to 11 am at the Grafton VFW – Fire Hall on South Road (County Route 85). Belgian waffles, pancakes, French toast, eggs (made to order), sausage gravy and biscuits, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, orange juice, coffee and milk are on the menu. The cost is $8 per adult, $4 for kids 12 and under and  free for kids 5 and under.
All proceeds will go to Rick Bly and family. The Blys lost everything in a house fire on April 14. Please come out and help us support this family. There will be a 50/50 raffle as well.

Pre-Registration Begins For Lions 5k Road Race

The Town of Hoosick Lions want to remind everyone that the 27th Annual Wood Memorial Road Race will be held on Saturday, May 19. As in past years, there will also be a 1 mile walk and a 1 mile “fun run” for the kids. Registration and check-in is from 7 to 8:40 am. The race begins at 9 am. The course route is the same as in previous years. Trophies and medals will be awarded to the top finishers, and refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the race.
Pre-Register For T-Shirt
Pre-register by May 6 to be guaranteed a newly designed commemorative T-shirt. Registration forms may be obtained at Thorpe’s Pharmacy or online at www.townofhoosicklions.org.
